Isaac McKay

Isaac B. McKay is a native of Pageland, S.C. and like his father also enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he retired after serving 20 years in 2011. His military career afforded him the opportunity to be a soldier for the U.S. Army and travel the world being stationed in places like Wiesbaden, Germany; Seoul, South Korea; and Okinawa, Japan. He also served his country in support of Operation Iraqi freedom from 2008-2009.

For 34 years, he has been married to Rebecca A. McKay and together they have four children (Rachel, Sierra, Brianna, & De’Ante) and eight grandchildren. 1996, Isaac B. Mc Kay gave his life to Christ and was baptized at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church located in Colorado Springs, CO. He is a member and of Greater Works Community Church (GWCC) in Hopewell, VA. where he serves as Associate Pastor under the leadership of Overseer Terronda C. Green.

He is also an active member in the community. He’s a member of My Brother’s Keeper of Greater Richmond (MBKGRVA) where he serves a Vice President. MBKGRVA is the leading Fatherhood initiative in Central Virginia with its Father2Father 24/7 Dad programs. He is a member of Post 1703 America Legion Prince George, VA. He is a member of the GWCC Brotherhood an auxiliary of men supporting men. He’s the founder of the PALS mentoring program. PALS stand for Providing Adolescents with Leadership Skills. He spearheads the mentoring outreach group on Fort Gregg-Adams, VA where once a week for 30 Minutes they mentor eighth and ninth graders at N.B. Clements Junior High School in Prince George, VA. These mentors pick up their mentees in the eighth grade and mentor them throughout high school. 

In 2011 seeing the direction that social media was going. God laid it on his heart to start using all his social media platforms as a tool to spread the Word of God to his family and friends. 14 years later, he is widely known for his daily inspirational messages that now has circulated throughout the United States and the world, touching people on all social media platforms with God’s Word. Ultimately, his upmost passion is to just be a true servant of God and an encourager to the Least, the Lost, and the Lonely.
